I also may send you guys a link. I dont start up my job for another two weeks; I may be flying down (via Coast Guard transport) to help with the relief and donations may be allowed on the transport.

 

I am sure there are others, but I have a friend who went to Albany who has lived there for years (after school) and both my sister (who went to Tulane Law) and I have yet to hear from him. We heard from one of our friends and he stated the following: "What you may see on TV is nothing like it really is; This is a dead city."

 

He went on to tell us they may actually declare a large portion of New Orleans unihabitable, tearing down many buildings from the Garden District down to the Qtr. I believe him; he is a PO who's dad was the former chief of police.
