Overall disappointed but sitting with Ford on Friday and seeing Sat's game at Fordham has lessened the disappointment. This win and new scholarships for the NEC could easily springboard our program to better things. They finished strong and they are excited about next year(I sure hope I am not saying this again next Nov)NEC losses are not acceptable to me. Monmouth could of been won the last two years.

 

I found out that they have a kicker. The problem is he was academically ineligable this season and they should have him back. They are very excited about Omar Johnson and think Wayne Carrabus could be the best TE in school history. They lose 5 guys that really hurt them but thats all. Kimble G, Brennan C (both easily replaced. Nguti # 74, btw he is enormous. Looks like a D1A tackle out there). Boone and Becker @ LB hurts. Everyone else rotated. So as Ford was saying they really only lose 4 impact players. I believe Justin Sands and maybe Unverzadt(both medical redshirt reasons) could be back.

 

They will have at least 5 new JR College transfers and love the redshirts they have coming up.

Will be interesting to see how Ford goes about recruiting scholarship athletes - I'm no expert, but it must be different than recruiting non scholarship athletes.
