Hartford

Recommended Posts

Hartford has played pretty well this year, especially Adeleke. I think that Albany needs:

1. A good game from Zoellner, not necessarily a lot of points, but he can't get dominated like in the first half of the Sacred Heart game. I wonder if Albany goes to a zone for a good part of the game to force Hartford to make some perimeter shots?

2. Jamar to get to the free throw line. I haven't looked at the stats, but I think he needs to average 7 or 8 free throws per game. To do that, he needs to penetrate more.

3. To continue to be aggressive on offense. Don't want to get overly dependent on the perimeter shot.

I share your concerns about Adeleke. He's scoring 20 points a game while shooting about 60% from the field. Hopefully Zo + Covington can keep him from giving us Kimbe Trim flashbacks tomorrow night.

Other than Adlelke and Cook I'm not sure about the rest of the Hawks. They looked great starting off 4-2 and have lost 4 of 5 since then. This game will be a good measuring stick as Hartford was picked 5th. Four of the five conferences undefeated teams play each other this week-UA and Hartoford, BU and UMBC on Thursday. Good chance to see where we stack up.
