All-Americans

Totaling it up this year, I believe we finished with 5 All-Americans (I'm sure I might have missed some?):

 

Fall - Blair Buchanan (volleyball)

Winter - Jamar Wilson (basketball)

Spring - Casey Halloran (softball), Joe Greene (T&F), and Marc Pallozzi (T&F)

 

Colin Disch, Aaron Kimball, Jacob Anderson, Michael Dungey, and Brian Becker all received DI-AA Mid-Major All-America honors as well.

 

Pretty good year for our student-athletes. I'd assume this was the highest number in a year at DI..some of our more veteran board members might know some more history from our DIII days??

And I believe Disch received HM All-Amercian honors for IAA on a whole, though I could be wrong.

(He will finish with those honors one day...and bet your butts if he gets a bit faster...he will be looked at by the NFL for these new hybrid positions we are seeing...or as a safety. he needs to add about 10lbs.)
