It's funny how they always tell us how great it is to play at the Pepsi downtown and today their entire board is full of moaning and groaning about $18 tickets and low attendance.  I'll take the 'CUE any day over the Pepsi.

Amen to that. We can argue back and forth about quality of teams and conferences, but to the casual or neutral fan in the area, a UA ticket is by far the better buy. Cheap ticket, close seats, cheap eats (though I expect that to change), and what's become a great game atmosphere. B)

 

I said it before, and I'll say it again. College basketball games do not belong in civic arenas except for perhaps the occasional "big game" or tournament. I'm just thankful that Mrs. S$ attended Albany, because thus determined our choice of basketball when we moved to this area.
