Connelly Diagnosed With Diabetes

Per the blog:

 

"Brown said Connelly was diagnosed with diabetes six months ago, although his condition has not been public knowledge until now. UAlbany sports information director Brian DePasquale said Connelly has type 2 diabetes, which is less serious than type 1. Adam Morrison of the NBA’s Charlotte Bobcats is a type 1 diabetic."

Unfortunate for Brian. Let's hope he can monitor it carefully and enjoy continued success.

hahahaha...its all good.

 

but yea I was right next to Brown when he said it and let me just say that all the press guys where pretty shocked about it. Lucky for him it doesnt seem to be as serious as Morrison (meaning he needs injections on the sidelines), but frankly, if this has been going on for 6 months, and he has played this well, as long as he monitors it, it shouldn't be an issue.
