We now have a 116 RPI ranking. Vermont dropped to 119. Vermont also has to wrestle with three road games in a row: at Binghamton, at Hartford, and at Stonybrook. Also of note, Siena dropped to 134 with its loss at home to Fairfield. See http://www.realtimerpi.com/rpi_Men.html

 

Marist has dropped to 106 with a road loss to Canisius.

-Albany is up to #110 & Vermont is on our heels at #111.

 

OTHER LOCAL or REGIONAL SCHOOLS OF NOTE :

-Bucknell, our first game and win of the season, has dropped to #137 despite having gone 5-1 in the Patriot League. The private school from Loudenville, NY is at #128. Marist checks in at #116.

 

OF NOTE:

-Other major programs ranked just below UAlbany include Iowa and Northwestern of the Big Ten are at #114 and #124, respectively; N.C. State at #139; Cincinnati of the Big East at #141; and Rhode Island of the A-10 at #146.

 

 

SUNY REPORT:

-Stonybrook at #229; Bingo at #281 (going to hurt Miami of Florida's NIT bid); and Buffalo, way down with a dismal 1-4 conference start, to #179.

 

*Boston University comes in at #206, despite having started off A.E. play with a 4-2 record (7-11 overall).
