Albany falls to #3 in the power rating, behind Cornell and Princeton. Probably due to #26 strength of schedule. Next up #23 Drexel.

 

Regardless of whether UA ranks #2 or #3, this power rating is indeed an accomplishment. Although there are only 60-some men's lacrosse teams in Division I, the equivalent rating of #2 would put us close to a ranking in the top 10 teams of the country if it were in men's basketball or in the top 20 for a power ranking of #3.

 

Some of our detractors like to cite the fewer number of teams in this sport, but the current polls certainly paint of picture of great achievement.
