Gilliam to Prep

Recommended Posts

NJ Hoops announced Chauncey Gilliam will attend Brewster Academy next year. Not much other info there but his verbal to Albany was still mentioned. I don't think he can sign for 07-08 until November.

Here's a picture of him winning a NJ dunk contest:

I don't understand the signing requirements - Iati signed when he was a junior, so I would think that Gilliam can sign prior to his PG year (unless he can't sign prior to enrolling in the pg year)?

Brewster gets a lot of attention from BCS and High mid major schools...

A player can make a verbal commitment as a junior but cannot sign before November of his senior year.

If Gilliam e is going to prep school, he will have to sign another LOI during one of the 2007-08 signing periods (November or April). Or on rare occasions a player may end up as a scholarship athlete without signing a LOI.
