The UA women won their soccer match today against Iona, 2-0.

This team has traditionally had a rough time of it in Division I. There was one quotation from the UA Athletic website that caught my eye. "UAlbany (1-2), which had nine or 10 freshmen and sophomores on the field at the same time for the entire match, dominated from the opening whistle by taking seven of the first nine shots."

Does this development portend a turning of the corner for this team?
