A story in today's Baltimore Sun sheds some light on the UMBC coaching situation. Apparently the team mutinied and decided they weren't going to play in the tournament for Sullivan. The story goes on to describe a tirade against a player on the bus ride home and again once they got back. That part of the story reminded me of Beeten and Dave Schloss a few years ago. How did this guy last nine years? Shouldn't the AD or pres have motivated HIM to take a supervisory seminar? Old school or not, he's got to know every person can't be handled the same way - and I don't mean the way he handled the volleyball coach.

 

I can't believe someone would defend this clown either.
