Spring Football

[HOF2013]

Any word on Spring FB?  Different league, CAA.  Can they practice? Have the spring game?  Other league have already had there's and beenpraticing.  If not it could hurt teams that can not do so.

Thoughts!!

Just announced that CAA was cancelling all spring practices etc.    Not allowing groups of team mates to practice together - does this mean on Campus?  Or anywhere?  Will coaches discourage them getting together?

Yep.  Has got to hurt teams with lots of JR college transfers, like UA one would think.  O Line blocking schemes and calls for example. Will they allow kids to work out together?  They may be able to get a little chemistry is so.

All teams in the CAA will face same issue, yes likely to affect teams with higher turn over.

I wonder if schools who haven’t had spring practice yet will be allowed a couple weeks early workouts

Good question, PLUS many have not had "Jr. Days" and mass visitations like they do at spring FB.  We have not.  This could harm recruiting at UA.   UA brings new kids on Campus in June to start learning.   All of these things could be a huge interference with the team's preparation.

I do not see 👀 the NCAA permitting any longer pre-season.  Based on what I have heard, health officials need from mid April to mid May to determine if COVID 19 is past it!s peak infections.  Wait and see 👀 situation.
