The University Store

My wife and I paid a visit to the University Store in Colonie Center. I've been curious about the place since my newphews buddy came to a game wearing Danes stuff that he had purchased at the University Store in Buffalo.

I was surprised to find that there was no $iena stuff in the store yet. Several UAlbany things including a Great Danes jacket for $8. Happy to see the Albany stuff displayed promiently and I witnessed a couple of people buying UA stuff. Lots of things from the other state schools, Cortland, Buffalo and Genesso to name a few. Surpising there was nothing else from the other local colleges-RPI or Union.

I checked this store out yesterday. It's called "Steve & Barry's". I did see some Siena stuff, although not as much as UAlbany stuff. To me, this store is an even cheaper version of Old Navy. I was not impressed, and will probably only go back if I need to buy someone a cheap holiday grab bag gift.

It might be a good place to go to get some cheap Vermont stuff to wear to the Vermont-$iena game. Go Cats Go!
