Cool read. I enjoyed my use of the tunnels while a student at UAlbany. It was a life saver on those cold winter days/nights (I was a night student).

Great read to bring back memories.  Lived all four years on Dutch Quad so on cold, windy days, entered the tunnels from the corner of the podium nearest Dutch.  Had many a hair cut at that barber and bowled many games on the lanes.  Don't want to know how much money I spent on beer at the Rat.

Also, each semester I knew where they parked the pallet in the tunnel of the next semesters schedule of classes/course descriptions booklets(no Internet yet 1979-83) so grabbed a copy out of one boxes before it was available.  A few days later, several cases were empty as word got out.
