I don't know how true but rumor had it in pre-season Rizzuto was the best freshman. I guess we'll see, he won't be any savior but need some bench help. Clark hasn't come off the floor this game, Haley has been off for 2 minutes. Can't play like that...

I'm starting to come around to your way of thinking...24 0-4 from the field with, 2pts, 3reb...

 

Play him at the 4 when Rizzuto or Flory come back and if he can't produce there he won't produce anywhere.

I think French needs to move to a starter in place of Hank by AE time.  More fluid and seems to be in right place at right time for driving dump-offs.

You have to start somewhere...Dartmouth had most of the starters in until the end including Knight.

Well at least that was fun to watch on actual tv and not through an app. The Belfast fast crowd was treated to an unbelievable field of Albany, Dartmouth, LIU and Marist 😂

This massacre is over, 91-77 final...bad showing, lots of problems for Albany to work out. 

- Haley and Clark played almost the entire game, 39 and 38 minutes respectively...badly need some guard and wing depth. Can Rizzuto and Flory provide it?
- Defense is abysmal, Dartmouth shredded Albany
- Offense wasn't clicking, shot 43% from the field, 27% from 3

Need to figure out what to do with Campbell, the kid isn't very good and over-rated on defense. Need to move him to the 4, right now it's 4-5 on offense every single game. 

The positives...
- Limited to's to 11 this game after 26 yesterday
- Kids continue to play well on offense...Haley 24pts on 9-15 shooting, Lulka 14/9...even DeSousa showed a little today with 8pts 3rb. 

Not a good trip if looking just at score, they have a week off before they play on Saturday at home. They have a lot to work on...A LOT!

Postgame CB seems to be relying on Rizzuto to give offense a punch besides Clark and Healy.  He is disappointed in bench may go small for awhile.  After 91 pts by Dartmouth,  defense is a bigger issue.  CB has told us many times that we struggle vs an uptempo team ie. Iona, a Princeton  type team like Holy Cross, and a 3 point team like Dartmouth.   That's a majority of styles coach.  In the words of a former NFL coach, " They are who we thought they were!"    Defense is on coaching staff who are not getting them ready to defend a style we know they will run.

If Campbells key contribution is defense and we gave up 91pts with him doing very little...this kid needs to get on the bench. It's pretty obvious by now that he's a decent rotation piece but provides little more then spot minutes. Everything is a struggle and right now he's not impacting the D to any significant degree.  

 

The issue has been most of the season and most of last a dreadful defense...they are worse right now defensively then last years poor team, didn't think it could get worse.

Campbell against LIU...2pts, 6rb and 5to's shooting 1-7 from the field. He's off to a significantly worse start then last year...his numbers are down across the board in every category. Taking more shots and missing more shots...orating has dipped under 100 and falling. 2pt % is roughly 20% off last year place...TWENTY PERCENT. These stats are BEFORE today's game is factored in. I don't know what happened to this kid after a solid sophomore campaign. I've never seen a player regress this badly.
