Watched game at The Australian.. GREAT atmosphere.. had a Tar Heel friend with me and even he was impressed with showing and liveliness.. Staff even passed out shots afterwards.. I still have goosebumps. So F'ing happy for the team, but also most importantly the Hooley's. If there's a link to the post game press conference, please post link..

Wow. That's all I can say. An incredible ending. Story book. May be the best sporting event I've ever watched, given all on the line and Peter's journey. (And I'm a Yank fan... That's sayin a lot)

I really hope we pull it off. Above all, what would be winning three in a row etc., this team had had an incredible story, given all that happened with Hooley's mom, all the new faces and pieces. The way the University, and more importantly, the team banded around Peter was amazing to see. I mean, Mike Rowley flew 15 hours just so Peter wouldn't fly alone. I do think the chemistry on this team is great and am hoping we can wrap this season in a nice bow come Saturday.

That's absurd. This school has no idea how to properly market athletics. This goes back to the same discussion we've had for a couple of weeks now about winning vs. marketing etc. On a nationally televised game, our best exposure YTD, and there will be a sea of red? Give me a break. Are people allowed to buy 8 tickets? Don't most sports events cap it at 4-6? With as much anticipation as possible for this event, why allow people to buy 8 at a clip?

I'm curious as to why the drop off across the board? Can't blame weather this time around.. No other real conflicting sports events either..

UA will be fine with the students. Nationally televised game (sorry.. ESPN3 doesn't count). Game on ESPN2 will bring a lot of attention. I think there will be enough kids from empire/freedom etc. that will fill those sections. If they have to, give the freaking tickets away lol.. It better be full..

Anyone know how many points Hooley had in total? Believe at one point in second half, he had 21. Monster showing. He really kept us in the game in both halfs.

These refs are killing us. Hooley has gotten mauled several times and no call. Sanders got tripped up/fell along the baseline and no blocking call.

He got hammered and in front of the ref. UNREAL.

Agreed, and Sam needs to be more integral. We also need more FT attempts which is where he comes into play in part too..
