Weird. Perhaps confusion with McKinley getting out of LOI? It isn't mentioned anywhere else, no reference on his twitter feed either. He did post on 4/10 that he can't wait to get back to Melbourne, but would assume that's more about summer break/vacation?

Anyone seen a highlight reel? Tried looking online. Couple of things from way back when in Lincoln but mostly show him crashing the boards (not a bad thing).

Let's Fix SEFCU!

Perhaps because the stadium really isn't that old and the monies can be better deployed elsewhere? -
Yes, but I think this kid is a more athletic version of him. Also, refreshing to see that most of his highlights are on drives/dunks, and there's a lot of fast break highlights off steals etc. How many dunks does this kid have a season?! Power jams too! On video, he looks like he would be the most athletic person we've ever seen in our program. Being a talent basketball player who can play within a system, be a good teammate, and keep up academically is a different story. All just speculation, but he's a freak. Who knows how well his athleticism would translate to D1 or Albany's offense, but would be fun to watch at least. Edit: anyone know number of years of eligibility for these guys?

The reality is that we've seen our best success with 3-4 year players. We've always plugged in the right pieces with a solid core. Outside of this upcoming year, we're going to have a TON of new faces. Can M. Rowley, Dallas, and Peters take the leap as seniors and lead the team or be big contributors? Remains to be seen.

I was hoping for a "splash brothers" tag team with Cremo and Baker, especially with Cremo's ability to drive and kick. We've had departures before. Just have to trust in Coach at this point. He's found a way to get it done in the past. Question is - does he stray the course, and look for a majority of 3-4 year guys, or does he go the sexy JUCO/rent-a-player strategy that we did years back that didn't pan out?
-
You guessed it.... released his 2015-2016 Bracket for next year (lol). But, seeing as the board has been slow for the last few days, figured I would throw it out there. Again, no respect for UA: http://espn.go.com/mens-college-basketball/bracketology

I wasn't filtering out players based upon why they left; I was trying to capture all those that did. I didn't think he was arrested. I think he didn't want to put the time in over the summer to get better. You're right. Ross was arrested on UA campus, but after his time on the team: http://blog.timesunion.com/asp/473/danes-johnson-charged-with-resisting-arrest/
-
Wasn't Carl Ross kicked off the team? Edit: I thought he was arrested etc., and coach decided not to renew his scholly as a result?
-
Fair, but he probably wasn't scoring a ton his Fr/So year. I would assume (I could be wrong), his junior/senior year is where he did the bulk of his scoring. Patience.
-
Agreed - guess at that age, it's easy to want to conquer the world/think you can do anything and be "Superman". As you get older, reality sets in.
-
I agree it's a big loss, but when taking Cremo into account, I think it helps mitigate it. I think Cremo has potential that we haven't seen the likes of before.
-
Projected lineup is Singletary, Sanders, Hooley, Rowley, Peters?
-
Where did you see McKay is transferring? Can you clarify what you mean by post 27? Perhaps I'm just getting senile lol
-
Wow... a bunch of new spots opening.. After next year, we will be a very young team.
-
I think a lot of the effects of Baker's loss depends on where Cremo ends up playing, PG or SG, and how coach sets the team up around him. We will see though. After this year though we will we fairly thin in the backcourt.
-
Not sure we need immediate contribution player, unless it's for a 4/5. 1-3 we are fine, and expecting better years from Sanders and Singletary.
-
Guessing it's probably too late in the recruiting season to snag a immediate contributor for next year, right? Assuming we then go JUCO route? Would be nice if we could get a 4/5 to help with Sam's loss and put some size in the middle.

Reason: According to twitter user, who reported it, @RyanJamesMN, it was so he could be closer to home: https://twitter.com/RyanJamesMN/status/584070455440510976

This opens up a scholly I'm guessing. Perhaps a JUCO?

I think this is purely based upon playing. Didn't get a ton of burn and with a lot of the team returning next year, plus the addition of Cremo, perhaps he thought he was going to be limited in PT - which he most likely would have been. Thought he had the ability to light it up in the AE, but we have a log jam at the guard position for the next year. Perhaps in his eyes, he didn't want to wait until his Jr. year to see what PT he would get. Edit: On Twitter, he RT'ed Kevin Ware's status "Change is good for everybody" on 4/1. Random, but Ware himself xferred from L'Ville. When we won the AE chip, he was going berzerk. Don't think it was a Coach thing or chemistry. Seemed to get along with everyone. I'd bet it was purely playing time, and perhaps he knows that Cremo is better than advertised even.

Agreed 1000%. And Click, people have always been able to not work with someone for ANY reason - they just can't advertise that or use it as the foundation for their argument. There's always ways around it. If I owned a wedding venue, and didn't want to work with a couple, because they were gay, purple, or just rude people, I have the right to say that we're booked or ignore their phone calls in the hopes that they go away due to the lack of customer service. It works both ways. A LGBT person should not be able to refuse service to someone because they are "conservative" or religious. -

Once you allow for someone to discriminate on any one factor, you open a slippery slope to nearly every angle possible - discrimination on race, weight, education/"class" etc. You're welcome to have your own opinions, but you cannot/should not be able to refuse service to someone based upon that. And if you don't want to abide by that, it's simple - don't open a business. Your opinion is free in America, but you re not free to act as how you would like. In your private life you can choose as to who you interact with, talk to etc. But from a business standpoint, you cannot discriminate. Period. Using your Chik-fil-A example, management are big supporters of organizations that have beliefs that are drastically different from the LGBT community, but don't think for a second that they would ever refuse to accept the order from someone from that community. They recognize the difference and/or are not stupid enough to not take the $$ as well. And there is zero percent chance that this helps Indiana at all financially speaking. No F100, or even F1000 company will open its doors or expand into Indiana BECAUSE of that cause. -

You're missing the point. It will cost them dearly in the big run because of this law. The tickets will still be sold in Indiana for any F4 games etc. However, big businesses are pulling out of plans they had for expansion into Indiana, i.e Salesforce, and a slew of other companies. It's a statement to hit them where it hurts the most - economic expansion, jobs, etc.
