Don't get me wrong- I think Gattuso did the right thing by suspending him from the program...and indeed, we don't yet know all of the facts about the case. Gontarek could have been a d!ck to the police and gave them no choice but to arrest him. I just think it's sad in this day and age that a kid's career and perhaps his life could be ruined over one very minor offense. It's silly.

I stand by my statement. Arresting a kid and potentially ruining his life over pot is bull$iena. Cops could have exercised some discretion in the matter.

 

Using pot should be treated like a traffic offense. Pay a large fine so you dont do it again. End of story.

If you go to the main UAlbany site you'll see both colleges, Engineering and Homeland Security, are being announced... So engineering is live. Granted it's currently just a shell holding computer science but I'm guessing more will come.

I cant get the game for some reason- they're showing Villanova/Delaware.

JMU is the UA of Virginia. The schools are very similar in a lot of ways...similar size, academic profile, both started as state teacher's colleges...and of course same school colors and both have a dog for a mascot. Their athletic program is a few decades ahead of us but we're growing at a pretty fast pace. I've been to their campus before too and it's really nice.

They're basically saying we're a great school for low income families ?

They're coming off of two dominating wins, and it will be easy for them to overlook us...hopefully we can capitalize on that. Defense is going to have to put considerable pressure on Vlad Lee.

Reading up on JMU for this week and they went all black against Lehigh. Not much different than ours

It'll only get better. They are finally doing all the right things...indoctrinating freshman into the experience and culture, marketing properly to the community, and of course winning (in many sports) and proving our worth on the field. The pieces are in place.

JMU fans must be losing their minds.

So, I got an email the other day from the school that read as follows:

 

"The Campus Center’s new east addition will open Monday, September 7th! You can view hours for all dining options, including the new east addition, here. Additionally, you can review frequently asked questions about the new east addition and the impact of construction on other dining options here."
