  1.

Video screen was up in the SEFCU for tonight's game.

Ok...just for clarity, the video screen (like the one used in the AE tourney) was up. The new video board that UA'72 send Benson discussed WAS NOT.

    Correct?

I took '72's post to mean that one of the two boards that was up during the AE tourney would be there now on a permanent basis...instead of being rented.

  2.

Think UA has ever scored exactly 2 points in a game before?

I will now root for continued offensive futility!

Twice. Oddly, both against Southern Connecticut State.

    Sept. 20, 1980 - SCSC 6, SUNYA 2

    Oct. 11, 1986 - SCSU 28, UA, SUNY 2

That's some impressive research...I know I could look it up, but does SCS still have a football program?

I guess in the very least UA can update its media guides for: "Last time the offense only scored 2 points" to 11/21/15.

  3. I mentioned that earlier in the year…the OC looks like a GG bud who needed a job. According to the announcer someone named Allison is catching passes for UA and Malackey Hoskins made a tackle.

And now Hanks coughs it up…….

It is a lot easier to overlook when we are playing URI.

And the announcers aren't just mispronouncing, but they are also calling the wrong numbers.

Repetti made one catch from the TE postion; they called Manzo-Lewis. Chris Johnson gets a pick they credit Sakowski.

I think I am ready to tap out on this season!

  4. And just looking at the coaching bios why is the majority of our offensive coordinator's experience as a defensive coordinator?

And he has one year of O.C. experience? And it was the year before he came here, and it was at the high school level?

Was this some sort of a sweetheart deal to get Brunson? If so, I guess I could get excited for Brunson, but they still will need someone new to call in plays!

  5. Nice TU story on Travis Charles and I look forward to seeing him in person . . . but once again, the story is NOT a true advance -- nothing about our opponent, beating George Mason and scoring alot (though losing) against Cornell . . . and this stat that makes me really worried: Coglate has hit 17 orf 46 3-pointers, a .370 shooting percentage, making 8.5 a game which means 25.5 points a game. UA? 2-27, .074 shooting percentage, making 1 a game, which means, well, 3 points a game. This is my memory too -- "Colgate always tries to go haywire from beyond the arc" -- and if we give up 25+ points on 3-pointers and don't come close to matching that, it's big, big trouble. They take twice as many 3-pointers as we do, and hit 8 times what we hit. Our guards finally getting in a groove would help a lot. Ironically, given what we had been expecting, our inside play seems to be carrying us.

    SSS. Small Sample Size.

  6. I don't know how good the Boston U women are supposed to be, but Albany is a little more impressive tonight, leading 51-18 at the half.

51 points with barely any 3's...because they are causing turnovers galore.

BTW, Tiana-Jo got some minutes tonight, and her sitting against Pepperdine was not injury related.

  7.

I wonder if our guys were tired. Brown shortened the bench a LOT with about 14-15 minutes in the 2nd half. No Cremo, no Dallas, no Andrews, etc.

Evan probably played 30+ again tonight.

Also surprised that we saw less of Charles as the game went on. He was killing them to start the game...should have stayed with him. I doubt they adjusted so good that they completely took him out of the ballgame.

Charles seemed to take himself out of the ballgame, trying for harder shots as he got more confident.
