So with the results of Merrimack surprising win at Bryant today & Vermont beating UMBC these are the scenarios for tonight …., If UA wins: UA is 1st, UVM is 2nd, UMBC is 3rd, Merrimack is 4th. Bryant and Bing are out. If Bing wins, Bing is 1st, UA is 2nd, UVM is 3rd, UMBC is 4th. Bryant and Merrimack are out. Bingo just got a LOT more sense of urgency for tonight otherwise season over

It’s sad this crap continues in our game by fools like #16 on Merrimack. I’m glad that their AD did immediate investigation & kicked him out of the program postgame as well as apologized to our entire locker room. That team is pretty classless in both games we played them since they came to AE. They are leaving for MAC next year good riddance. You win national championships at D2 level act with some sort of class.

Whitney had his worst game of the year for sure thought he might get yanked in first half looked bad was guessing not reacting. He should have caught Enders pass clean it was not that bad & he still time to either move forward or run around crease. Felt really bad for Enders as he won that monster faceoff & should have given us an opportunity to win it.

The thing is you don’t know is that UA DID try to move it … they tried but Vermont was already in town day before. Them getting down here Saturday would have been even tougher & more unsafe. There’s always behind the scenes administration stuff that goes on that not everyone is privy to. Stunk for UA fans but glad to be able watch from couch on miserable day. Bottom line is we got a HUGE W!

UAlbany has no video review opportunity in the America East for lax this season as it was only recommended and required for next year. So even if that same play happened at Casey nothing could have been done, it’s ridiculous

The video was sent to head of NCAA officials & UA was told that the wrong call was made. It was a reviewable play but as we noted only certain conferences have the review ability this year ( which is crazy ) it will be mandatory for all to have for 2025 season. Scott said that today and as frustrating as it was they are on to UMASS.

Here was the call that was 100% wrong which would have given us the lead with 3 seconds to go. Clearly NOT goalie interference. Ryan had ball in his stick after scooping up rebound. The bigger issue is only some conferences have video review ability think it’s just the ACC & BIG 10. So what good is video review during regular season ???

I had volume off due to announcers were brutal why was goal at end of regulation called off looked good? Only thing made sense was crease but camerawork also was horrible. Needed that W.

For anyone that is interested in going - Colgate will be playing Yale THIS Wed 2/21 @ 7pm at Casey Stadium in a last minute switch for Colgate. We play @ Yale in April. Should be good game will be 10 man rides all day long as both teams super aggressive.

Pretty sure the lefty freshman Ryan Doherty will be 3rd starter at attack. Think see Hardy running that second line mid depending who he runs out of box from attack with that combo. Salit may be hurt did not see a ton in Siena or Cornell. Parker Winky & Amos will rotate in on attack as well.

Our boys fell top 10 Cornell squad 15-7 Jack V did have surgery out at least 4-5 weeks. Face offs were struggle all day. GD bunch penalties too which gave up 3 man down goals . Unranked Colgate pulled off the monster upset yesterday too beating #4 Penn state on the road too 13-12. Colgate plays Cuse Monday as well should be interesting for sure. We open vs Colgate & they will have 3 big games in before we play our first.

#21 is Jacksonville transfer Will Hardy. Believe Salit had un numbered pinny & back running middie. Did not see Jack VanValkenburg dressed as injured again. Did really like the freshman goalie Landon from GA. Has a great energy & mobility out of cage. We have lacked a stud keeper for awhile & he could be real deal.

They are able to & A lot of the seniors want to come back all depends on $ you still only have x amount of spots just b/c you use the covid year doesn’t mean you get your scholarship. Especially hard for Graydon who is from Canada so it would cost him a lot more .

Why do we have faceoff guys on roster if you don’t use them? Enders not working today but they throw Piseno up there every time! How about using Karnes ( who has been good. ) or the freshman give them opportunity
