I went to the NCAA site today, I figured there would be a write-up about E-Rod's record. There's nothing, zip. She breaks a career record in her junior year and they make no mention of it. That stinks. NCAA Volleyball.

In better news she was named player of the week. Blair Buchanan was named Setter of the Week (again).

The NCAA is severly lacking in giving some recognition to this outstanding accomplishment. I hope the Athletics dept. contacts the NCAA to correct this obvious oversight.

BTW, while they are at it, the Athletics dept. should have the NCAA remove the "(N.Y.)" tag from our name. I know there is an Albany State Division II athletics program in Georgia but we are the only "Albany" in Division I.

Little things like this matter when you are trying to build an Athletics program from a marketing perspective.

obvious oversight? how is the ncaa supposed to keep up with 300 d-I schools plus d-II and d-III?

if you look at the bottom of some of the stories they say "coutesy of xxx" and the school's name. So it's possible they didn't get a story from Albany? or Albany (NY)?

why don't you just contact the ncaa and send them the danes' story...

Welcome to the board Clipper71!

I thought because it was an NCAA record that they would have some mention of it on their site. I was wrong.

The new Pablo's rankings are out. Albany is down to 90 in the Pablo ranking and up to 62 in the Kern rankings.
