Dane Pound
I'm not trying to start anything here. Just curious how expectations have changed since Ayers left.
Patch
DP - nothing wrong with this Poll - it doesn't insinuate that one will be good and one will be bad. It's more like comparing Apples and Oranges
UAalum72
I voted for the men mainly because 1) AEast women's BB is generally higher-rated than men's and 2) except for the 2 BEast games the men's non-conf sked looks pretty weak. Dane Pound
It's more like comparing Apples and Oranges Lucky for me I'm a fan of both apples and oranges. Here's to hoping they both have both have great seasons. BTW the women open against Morgan State whose coach is in her 3rd year and her record is 4-52. Yikes. statefan
DP - it occurs to me that without both Sweetland and Ayers, you and I will have to find new players for our usual debate of who do you want shooting foul shots at the end of a game. Maybe this would be a good poll question. Although I still haven't seen any of the new players, my initial reaction would be Levine for the men and Schumacher for the women as who I want taking foul shots at the end of a game. Dane Pound
I hadn't thought of that. On the women's side right now it's a choice between Schumaker and Schumaker. I don't trust anyone else in that situation. The beauty of the men's side is there are several guys I'd be comfortable with. I'd agree with Levi but I thought Q was probably the best shooter last year. This year I'd be happy with Iati, Levine, Q or J. Wilson taking those cruicial free throws.
