I don't want to kill the mood, but what's up with Dyson.

 

Looking at the boxscore, everyone played but Dyson and MacCalla. MacCalla we don't really expect to play.

 

Could he be in the doghouse? How bad must the situation be when you don't play in a blowout?

Past adversity sometimes leads to quick feelings of negativity, I know it happens to me but....

 

I heard Dyson is fine, he has been out of practice the past couple of days I heard it was an inner ear infection.

From Bauman's apperance last night I guess he isn't going to redshirt. Nice way to start too knocking down your first 3.

 

Nice stat line for Lillis- 5 rebounds, 5 assists, 1 block and NO Turnovers. I listened to that game thinking how well he played and then saw that he didn't take a shot. We know he can shoot. A nice testament to him by controlling the game without taking a shot. I'm sure his scoring will come if it needs to. Sounded like he made a very nice pass to B. Wilson at one point.

 

We have to get some of these road games televised.

One of the highlights for me from the Sacred Heart game was the free substitution pattern by Coach Brown. I know I had heard several negative comments about his lack of substitutions in past years, especially in 2003-04.

 

It is very gratifying that he has broken out of this habit. As the Times-Union article points out, ten different players were already on the floor for Albany about barely halfway through the first half.

 

It is wonderful to see the confidence Brown has in all his players. Perhaps this game will silence some of the criticism. I am really looking forward to this season.
