SCARY ?????

No its not - Look at Bucknell's Schedule/Results they are now 1-5.

In their first 4 losses the avg losing by 20, and avg giving up an avg of 71ppg.

Their lone win was against a putrid Cornell team.

Good Win, solid defense another solid "W" but lets not blow it out of proportion.

Bucknell turned it over 23 times and we weren't pressing.

Bucknell didn't even have an outside threat.

Bucknell isn't very good but the Lady Danes went out and did what they were supposed to-handle an inferior opponent. A 27 point win looks impressive if nothing else.

I thought Mikus looked good handling the ball yesterday although she had a terrible shooting day. Gia Sanders really looks like she is going to be a player, very fast in the open court. Thrower got in for a few minutes yesterday. She's very, very quick but was out of control and turned it over a couple of times.

Nice effort of defense and it looks like everyone is on the same page in terms of what they are trying to do on both ends of the court. Danes are at 133 in the Sagarin ratings with their only loss coming to No. Arizona who is a top 100 team right now.

You are exactly right - the women did something the men haven't done in their last 2 games and that is take care of business.

The women did look good at both ends of the court - missed alot of relatively easy shots though. Could have won by more. Playing well on foreign courts. I too was impressed by Gia Sanders and Mikus.

Also agree with Patch that the men need to take care of the easier opponents. Saw that Long Island U beat Wagner by 20 and Stony Brook beat Lehigh by 7. While this usually means little or nothing, I feel we should have taken both teams. Also feel that, if we continue playing like we did in these two losses, LIU and Stony Brook will cause us problems.

Time to rise to the occasion and get things turned around.
