Women vs. Binghamton

Recommended Posts

Against Bighamton Hutch was in foul trouble early, sat for a good portion of the first half, then didn't get called for another foul under the closing minutes of the game.

The team just never seemed to get into any sort of flow.

Also it appears that Lindsey Clark is injured again. She hasn't been practicing with the team and was on the bench in street clothes last nigth. Previously she missed the first half of last season.

Yeah Hutch has been getting called for some ticky tack fouls early in the past couple games...which has really limited her minutes. Ladies just couldnt get anything to fall...they were getting good looks at the basket...just couldnt get a run going and fell way behind early...made a late run but it was too little too late. Coach will have them ready for the toughest test of the year....Maine....Saturday 2pm WCDB 90.9FM.

Luckily its not in Orono...but in Portland, but Maine fans are notorious for showing up in huge numbers and being loud, so it will be tough.

Yeah my broadcast partner and I were quite confused ourselves, they werent rotating probably on the transisiton Defense which led to those wide open looks from Jen Blues (who is shooting around 49% from the land of plenty).

Interesting to see how they bounce back on Saturday to try to keep pace in AE play.

At D-1 you have to be ready to play with intensity or you are not going to win. Bing played aggressive team defense and the Lady Danes just didn't come to play. Coach Patterson sent in all kinds of subs hoping for a little energy but it never happened.

The freshmen played well but they need veteran leadership.
