Vermont beats Syracuse in OT

Recommended Posts

Overnight UAlbany improved 10 positions in the Sagarin ratings. I think our close loss (8 points) at the end of the season to Vermont helped the improvement.

I will definitely agree with Reeder's comments about the impact the Vermont games could have on our motivation next year. I also believe the greatest improvement could come from Zoellner. And we also need to believe that we can win many of the close games we lost in 2004-05. Brown must be really psyched by the VT victory last night.

Where can I find RPI ratings on the web?

WCDBNuss,

Thanks for your info. I have that site bookmarked, but I don't like the fact that they update their info only every week. It also took them a while into the season to get them going. Thanks, again.

BTW, thanks for your efforts during the women's season. I don't live in the Albany area, and it was great to hear your reliable broadcasting for me to hear the game. Great job!

olddog71,

Thank you for your kind words. As you probably know...Craig and I are both seniors, and will be ushuring in some "new blood" for next years broadcast team, and we are fully confident they will do a great job.

It was a great season for both programs, and I have followed these teams throughout my 4 years, and have seen them go from 5 wins or less to >13 wins for both mens and womens basketball....quite impressive and a pleasure to be a part of.

We hope you continue to listen to WCDB as Craig will be doing select Lacrosse games, and we still have our weekly sports show on Saturday Noon-3pm

Thanks again for the support and for listening!!
