what a waste...Defense plays a awesome game and offense continues to do nothing. Bocanegra cant find targets. Special Teams continues to kill us...we had the game to go to OT and we blew it...what can you say

Had the FG been made earlier that touchdown would have been for the win. The way the defense was playing I'm not sure CCSU would have scored again.

 

I knew it would be very hard to win the conference as young as this team is. After yesterday and the way some of the other teams in the conference are playing it still seems possible. Either way I was pretty optimistic about the future after yesterday's game. Yes Bocanegra didn't adjust very well to the second reciever when the first one was covered. He does have a cannon for an arm and will learn to be a better QB. We haven't had a guy who throws like that in a long while. He also jumped into a few scrums for fumbles and ran tough. I'm looking forward to watching him for the next few years.

 

The rest of the team is just really young. Marcus Allen, Williams and the recievers are almost all freshman or sophs. This team may not win the conference this year but it will be better and better over the next couple of years. Great to watch a game on TV and see how good Colin Disch really is. I forgot from last year but he had an amazing game yesterday.
