I couldn't find the story online today but today's TU says that he has a jammed jaw and won't be able to eat solid food for a week. He can play with a mouthpiece but it sounds like it bothers his breathing. Not the kind of problem you want going against Marcus Slaughter.

Hate to bring up Sacred Heart again but they lost last night in a tough game (75-72)to Harvard. Harvard was picked second in the Ivy, is undefeated and unless it was a missprint is getting some votes in the top 25(?). That should be a heck of a game when they come to town and yet another difficult game on the schedule.

The story said the 'main reason' for the trip was to fulfill a promise to Jerrad Knotts, whose father has never seen him play and his mother maybe once. "If I don't do it, I've lied to the kid and I've lied to his family" said Brown. Nice that he keeps a promise even to someone who's played so little. But he won't alter his rotation to get Knotts into the game. Said they have to stop settling for 3-pt. shots. Brent's jaw was jammed by an elbow by SHU's Trim.

UCLA grad McElroy helped arrange the trip, and is trying to arrange a meeting with John Wooden.

I also noticed today that the 'Project 2010' master plan is hung in the display case by the entrance to the ladies' room in the RACC lobby. It includes some detail info not shown in the copy I posted here last spring.
