Oh, how far we've come- VBall and FHockey votes

I did a double take last night, checking the site this morning just to confirm. It is a testament to the students, coaches, and administrators that both our Volleyball and Field Hockey squads are receiving votes in the Pre-Season Top 25 Polls.

 

Volleyball- Testament to Sheffield's continued presence with the program. We lost quite a bit, yet his recruiting has given the pundits the idea that we may make some noise. I hope he is here until the end of his career.

 

FHockey- for a team that got its own field late last year, this is amazing. We had quite a bit of success in DIII and some at DII, but pre-season votes....that is a HUGE STEP UP. THE AE is usually one of the better FHOCKEY conferences (even with the departure of powerhouse NU).

Those were both coaches polls which carries more signifigance as far as I'm concerned. Volleyball was picked #1 in the AE coaches poll today as well.
