If this team goes less then 8-3 Ford's job should be in jeapordy. I know alot of young up and coming coaches at pretty prominant programs (DI as well) who are very intrested in UA.

 

I have a source on the UA staff that said "if we don't have a good team this year then it will be our fault because we have GREAT Talent". This is THE BEST TALENT Ford has ever had.

 

If a 4-7 or 5-6 season comes about that could be a disaster for Ford, and I love the guy like a father.

At the end of the day Great dane 84 you are exactly correct. I believe he will be around another 5 years to see the transition to full scholly football. Then who knows. He is in great physical shape that is for sure.

 

I do not beleieve we will have a bad season this year but if Fordie turns in 2-3 more sub par years I have to think they will start grumbling about a change.

 

BTW I hope he coaches till he is 80 as long as we are winning!
