Student Tickets

Recommended Posts

To All Students:

As most of you know, our men's basketball team clinched a thirteenth

seed in the NCAA tournament to face the University of Virginia

Cavaliers. The game will be played in Columbus, Ohio on Friday March

16, 2007 at 12:15pm.

The Division for Student Success and the Student Association will be

sending two student spectator buses to support the team. The Student

Association is offering discounted tickets for $30 (original ticket

price was $61) which includes admission to the game and round trip bus

Tickets will go on sale Tuesday night (3/13) at 11:59 p.m. at Copies

Plus in the Campus Center. Students can pay by credit card, cash, or

Podium account. SUNY Card required, only one ticket per student. The

line will form outside of the Campus Center by the small fountain. Only

a limited amount of tickets are available and are expected to sell

Buses will leave the Science Library Turnaround at 12:01 a.m. Friday

morning (3/16) and return 30 minutes after the conclusion of the game.

Please note that the travel time to Columbus is approximately ten hours.

If you have any questions, please contact the Student Association at

(518) 442-5640 or at SA@albany.edu.

Dam 12:01am on Friday

I hope to god that only UA fanatics end up landing tickets. Those who are lucky or opportunists need not apply, though you need to be a fanatic of some sort to spend 20ish hours round-trip on a bus for a 2:15 game with 2 hours surrounding it.

May the atmosphere in the Campus Center be more Selection Sunday than UA/UVM come Friday afternoon. If we win, which I think is very possible, I want a madhouse (within reason) like has never been seen before.
