From what I have read and heard--Tim Ambrose is the real deal. Academics may be the sticking point.

I don't think that you will ever find another Jamar. He will be royalty at UA for ever. Tim Ambrose is by all accounts a crazy athlete, but there is more to basketball then raw athleticism. Jamar was mentally tough, who knows what we are gonna get with Tim. I think of all the new guys being able to play right away it's him. He's been playing pickup ball with them, he's acclimated to the school and SEFCU arena as he was there at every game. He should be the most ready of the 3 to step in and help out. Lillis has been bringing up the ball most of the year, I think you'll see that continue. I think a huge part of our success will be how much Gifford can contribute, he could be one of the best if not the best in the confrence next year. His development could be huge, or if he doesn't contribute it could be an average year.

I think we will be preseason 4 or 5 because we simply haven't seen what this team can do without Jason and Jamar. Although personally I think we will be top 3, but allot has to happen for that to come to fruition.
