UAlbany def Hofstra 4-2 in the elmination game. Will play Baylor tomorrow for regional championship (Albany will have to beat Baylor twice to advance)

"With wins over Harvard and Hofstra, Albany becomes the first team in conference history to advance to the regional finals of the NCAA Softball Championship. The Danes will play No. 1 Baylor in a rematch of an first day action. Albany will need to win twice to advance on the super regionals."

 

It's not only good to see UA reach another milestone in its quest to establish a comprehensive athletic program, but to see the AE advance another level in its competitiveness as well.

 

Congratulations to the team and coach! To think this team was seeded 4th in the conference tournament, and now there vying for the NCAA regional championship.
