the coach's all give up a week of their summer at some point to host a camp for local athletes?

 

The camps are enjoyed by kids in the community but they are also moneymakers for the coaches.

 

You did a nice job of bringing it up that most of the facilities when not used by the University are occupied by outside groups both local and non local. The non local really aid are hotels and eating establishments.

 

The better the facilities at UA the better it is for the local economy.

 

If UA was to disappear the Capital Region would die a quick death.

Do you want to mention the amount John Fallon donated for the lax field, or would that invite a 'So do the same for the football field' response?

 

Technically, you should sign it 'alumnus' - alumni is plural, and you don't want to be open to criticism for poor grammar from UA critics.

Just an FYI....I don't think the TU will publish any letter unless its signed with a real name. I'm not sure if you were intending to do that or not.
