"McNally earned newcomer honors after scoring six points and grabbing three boards against Big East perennial power Connecticut on Saturday. McNally played 19 minutes off the bench and hit three of his eight shots from the field."

Conference Notebook Notables

"Several America East student-athletes had standout performances last week. Albany's Tim Ambrose (Brentwood, N.Y./Our Savior New American School) scored a career-high 24 points against Duke by making 10-of-16 from the field. It was the most points allowed by the Blue Devils to date this season... "

Ambrose: 10-16 24pts 4 REBS 29 mins (Duke 111 UA 70)

McNally: 3-8 6pts 3 REBS 19 mins (Uconn 105 Maine 60)

Probably because Tim Ambrose won it the previous week, December 10-16. See http://www.americaeast.com//pdf4/101814.pd...DB_OEM_ID=14000

While I suppose there is no rule saying that the same player can't be ROW more than once in a season, I imagine the conference (or the powers that be) like to mix it up a bit so as to highlight the league's young talent across the board.
