According to Rivals, they have an offer out to Byron Byrd, a 6-5 PF from New Mexico Military Institute. South Carolina State and UC-Riverside have also extended scholarships.

 

Any idea where this scholarship is coming from? Did someone transfer?

Looks good to me. That's the same conference that Jason Siggers came from.

 

 

Along the same lines, according to Texas hoops Albany has offered a scholarship to point guard Mike Jackson of Blinn College. Here's a link to his stats, which are pretty impressive. He's down to his top two, us and South Alabama with a visit scheduled for April 11th. SA is some pretty stiff competition but hopefully he comes to Albany (he's from Brooklyn originally.)
