How foolish can you be? How can you talk about the NCAA Tournamet when you have only 9 win's?? The article should have been an "IMPROVEMENT" article! I wonder what Mari Warner is thinking? These are her kid's. At least the six that play are all her recruits. None of Patterson's recruits play!

Anyway, hope the ladies win today and the men win!

I think the fact that they're thinking that way at all shows the confidence this team has lacked the last few years. The tourney is Maine's to lose just as it was last year. If through some miracle Maine is knocked out (again) I think they have a good shot against anyone else in the league.

Five games left including today for them to position themselves. Home against Hartford (3rd), home against Vermont (tied 10th), at NU (tied 6th), at BU (2nd) and home against UMBC (tied 10th). Win today would be Billy Fucillo-sized toward catching Hartford as they have games at BingU and against Maine still on their schedule.

I agree that it's not a good idea to publicly talk about an NCAA appearance given that the turnaround has been in the last 9 or 10 games.

I do think it's great for them to rally around internally. The reality is that they will probably face a Maine team in the AE semi-finals that blew them out last week, they will probably also face Hartford at Hartford.

It does go to show what confidence can do - also getting Hutcheson back doesn't hurt.
