Like just about every issue the Danes get some positive pub.

John Carroll, G, Albany

Albany had goalie issues in ’09. Carroll played in 14 games, starting nine and going 7-4 with a 50% save rate. The 5-foot-9 former Long Island Empire State Teamer has the potential to be a 55% goalie as a sophomore.

Also on the same page are predictions for sophomores who did well last year.

Expected to hold steady

Joe Resetarits, A, Albany

Resetarits is doing all he can to keep the Danes’ offense on track as the midfield finds more weapons. He’s shown an ability to score at will (34G in ’09).

To be fair, I see a Siena player mentioned for the first time since my subscription started.

STOCK DOWN

Bryan Neufeld, A, Siena

After a reality check against Syracuse in the NCAA Tournament, Neufeld will have to take over the Saints’ offense with Kenny Mazzone and Matt Girsh graduated.
