Great Season for Learn

I saw 8 or 10 women's games this year and was truly impressed with the improvement Alicia Learn showed.

After watching as many games last year I don't know if I would have recognize her on the court.

This season she was an impact player who was a threat to score or block a shot at anytime.

She deserves a lot of credit because she must have done something in the off season to get her to the new level she played at this season.

Credit must also be given to Trina and/or the coaching staff for finding away to instill confidence in Alicia. She was a different type of player this year.

Patterson was saying on the coaches show on Saturday (I tore myself away from Maine-Vermont) that she used Learn as an example to this years freshman. She said Learn decided right after the season was over last year that she was going to be a better player the following year. Hopefully Clark and James take that to heart and help move the Danes into the upper tier of teams next year.
