Lagno Track Performer of the Week - http://www.americaeast.com/ViewArticle.dbml?DB_OEM_ID=14000&ATCLID=205078961

However, how is beating the old record by .59 sec shattering? Our media used the same language. Maybe if the race was a 400 or 800 but in a 3,000 at this level .59 is a shave not a shatter!

This Friday's meet at the famous NYC Armory should produce another round of conference bests as the whole team kicks into action. Any NYC Alum may join us at Coogins for a pre, during, post meet social.

Thanks for the update, and nice job calling attention to word choice. I have noticed that regardless of the final deficit that Tim Wilkins continually refers to a men's basketball loss as a "crowning". I was going to ship him a thesaurus, or more likely a hyperlink to one.

Friday evenings finals should be a barn burner with several national bests and Olympic calibre talent!

From Roberto:

We have 36 teams including Villanova, Pitt, UCONN, PENN, Manhattan, UMASS, North Carolina A&T, Delaware State, Maryland-Eastern Shore, LIU, Puerto Rico to name a few. Also a few alums are competing (Junior Burnett, Jenn Gurrant, Arina Gerasimova) and an Olympic Gold Medalist-Natasha Hastings. It will be fun. Come out!!!!!!!!!!!

Undoubtedly the best meet the GD Classic has held!

I will sincerely miss being there this year and hope all who go have a great time.
