Click had a post the other day about Matt Lassen, A shooting guard from Iowa committing the other day.

 

I usually like to post how our potential recruits are doing in high school but I'm sorry to say this isn't that kind of update. Lassen was injured Friday night in a collision under the hoop and was taken off the court on a stretcher. He's still in intensive care with a concussion and possible swelling on the brain.

 

Scary stuff. It's been incredible how many concussion there have been in basketball lately.

Was googling Lassen and came upon this, wasn't sure if I should post it but seeing how he's improved and feeling better looks like a brutal fall.

Lassen has been cleared to start practicing again on a limited basis.

Ordinarily reporting that one of our recruits scored three points in a game wouldn't be big news BUT... this week Matt Lassen played his first game in two months after being out with the severe concussion that had in intensive care. Good news that he is back playing again.

Call it a comeback? Lassen knocked down 5 threes in a win the other night - Iati-like.

Sounds like Lassen is pretty healthy. He had 30 points in a state playoff game including hitting five threes (again.)

Lassen's team is playing in the state playoffs. I liked this from the pre-game story...
