About half of the NEC teams have released their schedule in the past week, and our OOC and home games look set:

9/1 Colgate

9/15 @Youngstown

9/22 @Maine

9/29 Monmouth

10/13 St. Francis

11/3 Wagner

11/17 Central Connecticut

The order of league games has changed, so we can't assume the road games will be about the reverse of last year. I just hope the two western PA road trips aren't back-to-back.

Probably St. Francis for homecoming again?

At least we have two home games in September.

Any reason we haven't released our schedule yet?

There's a lot of flip flopping of games this month due to West Virginia moving out of the Big East to the Big XII next year.

I wonder if there's any chance we can pick up an FBS game?

Since our OOC games look set, I doubt we'd get one this year.

Next year is a 12-game season, better chance then.

In the NEC only Sacred Heart and Robert Morris still have to release their schedule. RMU seems to have an unannounced date with Dayton, so unless somebody else starts moving things around, this year looks like:

Sep-1 Colgate

Sep-8 at Robert Morris

Sep-15 at Youngstown State

Sep-22 at Maine

Sep-29 Monmouth

Oct-6 at Bryant

Oct-13 St. Francis

Oct-20 Bye

Oct-27 at Sacred Heart

Nov-3 Wagner

Nov-10 at Duquesne

Nov-17 Central Connecticut State

Nov-24

I guess I'm wondering whether are OOC games are really set.

I'm sure we'd break off the Colgate game to play at a Big East team.

Sure, but wouldn't a BE team talk to Colgate first?

I don't think Colgate is a counter either. Syracuse had them as a second FCS game last year, so I'm not sure they cared about counter status.

I'm just leaving a little glimmer of hope for an FBS payday.

Temple joining the Big East now in 2012 is going to leave a lot of holes in the MAC schedules.

A lot of competitive FBS games out there now and Temple's $6m buyout to spread around to fill those holes.

Curious we still haven't released our schedule.

I hope even if there are changes to the schedule that the Robert Morris game stays where it is. I haven't seen them there yet and like 2 years ago when I went to Duquesne

the Pirates are scheduled at home the weekend around this game. :D
