If the AE falls?

We are not at this point yet however if the AE falls apart after the departure of BU and SBU where could we go?

 

Would the NEC be an option?

 

Wherever UNH and Maine go I guess.

 

I don't think the NEC schools would want large state schools in their conference.

I agree about the NE. That would be a fallback or lateral move anyway, unless the NEC ramped up football somehow which would make it slightly more attractive.

 

As an overall athletic program, we've been at/near the top of the conference for the last six or seven years. Historically in the AE, teams that have been where we are now have been looking up, not sideways in terms of conference affiliation. I hope that's what we're doing.
