Ladies open up the season down at Dizney Stadium against the Gators on Feb 24 @ noon.

Battaglino seemed to be very optimistic about this years squad.

Women take their first loss of the season, 11-13 at #3 Syracuse. SU is now 12-1, their only loss was by 2 to Maryland, their only other win this close was 11-9 at #5 Boston College. This was Albany's first game against a ranked team this year, looks like they will be right with the top teams come playoff time.

They played an impressive 2nd half and if they could have won a few draws they could have won this game. In my view they were rye better team other than that. Something like 23-4 on draws.
