ALBANY, N.Y. – 2016 UAlbany football season ticket holders are invited to an exciting, exclusive Meet & Greet Social with head coach Greg Gattuso and his coaching staff on Thursday, August 11^thfrom 5-7 p.m. on the Tom & Mary Casey Stadium concourse.

This is a great opportunity meet, get autographs and receive exclusive insight on the upcoming year from Coach Gattuso and his elite coaches. Coach Gattuso’s staff has 28 years of playing and coaching experience in the National Football League (NFL):

Greg Gattuso, Head Coach: Worked out with the Washington Redskins after career at Penn State. Has 107-45 record in 14 seasons as a college football head coach.

Bernard Clark, Associate Head Coach/Defensive Coordinator: 1990 Third-round pick, playing three years with the Cincinnati Bengals and the Seattle Seahawks in the NFL.

Nate Byham, Tight Ends Coach: Four-year career in the NFL with the San Francisco 49ers, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the New England Patriots.

Delbert Cowsette, Defensive Line Coach: Had stints with the Washington Redskins, the New York Giants, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and the Chicago Bears from 2000-06.

Jim Sweeney, Offensive Line Coach: Named one of the 50 greatest New York Jets as a starting lineman for 10 seasons from 1985-94 in a 16-year NFL career with the Jets, Seattle Seahawks and Pittsburgh Steelers. Was a stand-in coach for the Arizona Cardinals in 2010.

Nick Sanchez, Cornerbacks Coach: Signed with the Oakland Raiders in the 2008 season after starting three years at Stanford University.

Complimentary food, beer, wine and soft drinks will be served at this event on the Casey Stadium concourse, and in addition to the Meet & Greet Social, all season ticket holders may pick up their 2016 season tickets at the event.
