Sounds like a reasonable 'personal situation' to me. Usually you can't release information about grades without the player's consent (privacy laws and all), so maybe that is in fact the case.

If he were a freshman or soph, maybe. Is anyone likely to fail AFTER the end of classes his senior year? Wouldn't he just finish this summer or next fall?

 

Maybe he got a job offer that wouldn't wait two more weeks. Without any info the possibilities are limitless.

I'm not sure I understand that comment. If you fail you fail. It's not like you get a "do-over" to finish in the summer or fall!!!

 

But we still don't know that's the case anyhow!
