I think tryouts are this weekend. Last year, Jordan, St. Hillaire and Levine played. Wilson hurt his ankle and couldn't participate.

 

Any rumors on who is trying out this year?

There are also tryouts tomorrow and Saturday. ESG website says rosters will be posted in July. I would think this would be a good opportunity for some of the guys who sat out last year to work out a little rust.

I ran into Jamar about a month ago on campus and he said his recovery was going fine. I asked him if he was going to play in the Empires and at that time he said he thought he would work out with the team but not play. Of course that was a short while ago and things could always change.

 

I didnot speak to any other players so I don't know their situation. I know Levi didnot enjoy his experience last year with the Empires.

 

Zoellner I would believe (if possible) will be going to Germany to see his family. He doesn't get many opportunities.

Zoellner is on campus this summer taking summer classes. Zoellner, Iati, Levine, Jordan and Wyatt are all on campus as i know of, all taking summer classes i believe. I lived on Colonial for the past month, and saw them everyday.

Thanks GD84 - I knew that most of the guys would be on Campus this summer taking courses and of course working out with each other, but I wasn't sure if Der Big Man was going to get away for awhile. I believe as part of their scholarship they get a ticket to home and back once a year (I'm not sure about that).

 

I believe the freshman will be on campus also at the end of June or early July. I'd sure like to see them all playing pick up some day. Practices should be very interesting next year.
