Somebody on their board called casey a glorified high school stadium. lol salty 🤣
Apparently they have not been in their own stadium.
Funny enough, most CAA fans like our stadium.

What time is the Idaho game?
10pm tonight. If SIU wins, we host. If Idaho wins...we head to the Kibbie Dome. Likely a 10pn EST kickoff.

Any word on Hicks? Did he ever come back?
And agree with getting the starters out there.

GET THE Binging STARTERS OUT!!!- 1

Rest the starters...full stop. Next week's game is going to be a DOOZY and one that could get us to the semifinals.

Benard still coaching special teams? Lol
Next demotion will be to laundry. That $iena will be screwed up as well with him in charge. it's really quite damning. Literally our worse unit all year long.

They are dirty...full on dirty.,
-
First three plays-
Woodell off tackle gain 4
Poff play action, slant for big game.
Third play- an out to the sticks.
Exactly what was needed.
-
There ya go D.
Now offensively, let's get back to Woodell and Aden...with Poff rolling for some quick outs and a few seam plays.

This is EXACTLY what Richmond did to Central.
Wentz, made a terrible mistake (he's only been playing football for four years, I think...will learn). Then Poff (live or die with it...this time we died).
We need to chill, and go back to football. I'd like to see us get back to the game on the ground. There literally is a whole half left.

Lot of game to play...and now AJ simon is Hurt....FFS
Albany staff...get your team's $iena together. Stop with the nonsense...just take care of business. We need our starters out by the 4th for a big game next week.
Being down AJ Simon would be really, really bad.

Richmond has played dirty ALL Binging GAME. EFF THEM.

The refs have been absolute $iena this game...absolute $iena...they are getting VERY close to losing control. Albany's staff needs to grab all the players and say "Let them do stupid $iena....just let it go...we have bigger things ahead of us."

What is Hall's story with Richmond...this appears to be very very personal for him. Did the coach kick his dog?
He was a monster for them...on pace to be a an All-American...then they slow played him a bit. Huesmann is an interesting guy as a coach...can be polarizing.

Best Albany football team. Ever. It’s not even close. Legit top 8 and would likely finish in the top half of MAC this year.

As for Union and Skidmore...they are not in trouble in the slightest. Both have nearly 500 million dollar endowments. Not so sure about Siena. Yes, they had a large freshman class but there are VERY serious financial issues at the school. Will they survive, very likely so. Will it impact a lot of things, including basketball expenditures...very likely so.

From my sources UAlbany has little interest in their campus and if expansion is needed, build out into the adjacent State Office Complex.
Siena is in no jeopardy, their enrollment rates and retention rates are at a satisfactory level. Further, Siena enrolled its largest freshman class. Albany Law and Russell Sage have come up as candidates for a merger or closure. Union and Skidmore do not know.
Siena marketing strategy took advantage of St. Rose weakness.
Very interesting, and I actually don't disagree with this at all. If we have continued access to Harriman, we should use it to unify the campus as much as we can Uptown. I don't like disparate campuses. However, from a pure housing perspective, I do disagree with the approach. Many urban campuses take up buildings for housing...and I think providing that kind of unified, affordable "off-campus" housing would actually encourage more students to attend the university.
Just my .02.

I would not be surprised if UAlbany purchases a large part of their campus.
Siena is on the clock.

The basketball focused schools might impead the AE from becoming aggressive and expanding. Delaware leaving could lead to a break in the AE with UMaine, Albany and UNH leaving to become all sports members of the CAA.
This is not happening. Full stop. though it would make sense.

I thought I read it on the AE board. They might need bigger stadiums for the Pac2
I’m very involved on a professional level regarding this topic (outside of my regular job). This is not a thing…just some crap posted from the CSNBS board on the AE board. Leagues are looking at it and it may happen, just not yet. The SEC and the B1G have been looking into it as well.

Didn't get top 4...wow
It was always going to be either 4/5 or 7/8. While we would have to travel to Idaho, I actually look forward to it though we play better at home. We open (or play our 2nd game) at Idaho next year...so this will be a good warmup.
One announcer has us going to the Semis.

The arena was used for a school event the other day. From the photos sent to me, it is gorgeous.
