  1.

I mean you can't even begin to compare it to University "field"...this just feels MUCH bigger/grandiose and I know it's really not compared to other facilities around the country. Can't wait to see it completed but enjoying every bit of the construction process watching it all take shape.

Today at work I had the webcam up all day, and I was updating it every half hour. A lot of visible changed occurred today (although they seemed to have shut down at 3PM.) It's great to get excited by this; can't wait to see it in person.

12PM Saturday, I might mill around the camera for a few minutes to show up in the picture. Good times!

  2. So the wall we see on the webcam is the back of the lower bowl then, which would explain the eight recessions for the eight aisles.

The forms coming in behind it are the base of the tower. According to the drawings, columns for the bottom of the upper level would need to be set between the wall and the foundation for the tower, leaving room between them as a walking area for fans.

Now it looks like they are building the south wall (the crane was placing the forms.) Right?

I thought it was a fumble. The QB's back was facing the line as he was falling and he was stripped. They didn't call a sack...tehy called an incomplete shovel pass, which is BS.

Same way I saw it. I thought when the officials huddled that if they changed the ruling they were going to call it a sack. Heck, if it was an incomplete pass then it should have been intentional grounding (I think he was still in the pocket.)

It could have been a great win for the program; now it is just another example of another step forward.
