What happended to the web cam? It's stuck on 12:30 (midnight).
I don't know, but my day at work sucked because of it. I find myself rooting for the construction workers like they are little men, and I look over them.

Unless you really want to see an nfl game in person, I wouldn't spend the money. You could go to Foxboro (Gilette Stadium) for
a New England Revolution soccer match, for half the price, and get the feel for how big it is.
How's the market for Penn State tickets?
If not this year, maybe next?
-
I mean you can't even begin to compare it to University "field"...this just feels MUCH bigger/grandiose and I know it's really not compared to other facilities around the country. Can't wait to see it completed but enjoying every bit of the construction process watching it all take shape.
Today at work I had the webcam up all day, and I was updating it every half hour. A lot of visible changed occurred today (although they seemed to have shut down at 3PM.) It's great to get excited by this; can't wait to see it in person.
12PM Saturday, I might mill around the camera for a few minutes to show up in the picture. Good times!

I'll walk over with you...we'll hold hands and sing kumbaya...
After all this, I will take it....City Hall afterwards?
-
It's coming down. It's right in the way of the player ramp to run down onto the field.
Definitely coming down, but with all this noticeable recent activity, coming down by Saturday might happen...I love me that webcam; can't wait to see it all on Saturday.

North endzone bowl is really starting to take shape today. Turning the corner on the trench which appears to be holding the lower stadium wall.
Any bets on if the old soccer scoreboard will be down by Saturday?
-
So the wall we see on the webcam is the back of the lower bowl then, which would explain the eight recessions for the eight aisles.
The forms coming in behind it are the base of the tower. According to the drawings, columns for the bottom of the upper level would need to be set between the wall and the foundation for the tower, leaving room between them as a walking area for fans.
Now it looks like they are building the south wall (the crane was placing the forms.) Right?
-
Looking at the attached drawing, it would appear that the eight recesses in the wall are where the stairs would go for fans to get to and from their seats in the lower deck.
This is starting to get really entertaining to watch.
For the Monmouth tailgate/game there is going to be some real progress.
-
In the lower left you also get a view of the stairs that UA72 mentioned before.

Aw, snap Danefan(s), but look what is creeping near the south endzone....

A story out of Buffalo about a possible football recruit with a tough upbringing: Chaquiel Nettles
I didn't have the heart to start a new recruiting thread yet for football class of 2016-2017!!!

Congrats to her, and well deserved. Extending an active contract is a nice vote of confidence for the basketball program and its direction.

By the way, here is how our much discussed website saw the game:
-
I thought it was a fumble. The QB's back was facing the line as he was falling and he was stripped. They didn't call a sack...tehy called an incomplete shovel pass, which is BS.
Same way I saw it. I thought when the officials huddled that if they changed the ruling they were going to call it a sack. Heck, if it was an incomplete pass then it should have been intentional grounding (I think he was still in the pocket.)
It could have been a great win for the program; now it is just another example of another step forward.

Deflating. Take it out on Maine.
-
Game, set, match.

Great game from Albany. I honestly believe we would have won this game if Drew Smith catches that football. HE DEFINITELY would have scored and the game would have changed...it was back and forth at that moment.
HUGE momentum shift there.

Here we go.....on-sides time.
-
Creamed on the screen.
-
Keying on Hutcherson a lot here.
-
Get it to the onsides.
Get it to the onsides....
-
Well, at least we know this team is good.

Layton better boot this to the next county.
I didn't have the heart to tell you...

I am so upset. The north berm wall could be built by now, but I didn't get to see it happen in 30 minute intervals. So upset!
