Had time so checked out Siena as they are an opponent...Need to wash out my eyes with chlorine. I've seen a lot of bad hoops including at UA last few years but wowza...

Playing little makes no sense...he's one of the worst offensive guard/wings I've ever seen. He just can't make a shot to save his life. His orating is so bad that it makes him unplayable...his numbers don't lie. Every time out it's 4 on 5 on offense. 

I really don't understand why he plays...his defense is ok.

Watching the game late, 3 things stand out to me, just how much faster they got into their offence, how quickly the ball moved to find the open man and how much they ran on misses and makes. Sebastian Thomas gives this team something they haven't had for years, a true PG. He's been impressive in the two games so far.

Haven't seen game yet but looking at boxscore, Thomas is a very nice player, two games now he's delivered. Impressive. 

Watching score will watch on replay but they seem more competent today.

Fair enough...didn't mean to rehash the WB thing but that tweet from last night was straight up bush-league. But, his MO, so not sure why I'm surprised. Hopefully he enjoys coaching a few rungs down, maybe he can win down there.

Further, how much do you really know about Will Brown and his family?  I know he has made choices to support others in his immediate family.  The Saint Rose WBB position just makes sense for him and his family.

No one is rewriting anything...certainly no one taking credit away for 5 championships. However you can make all the excuses you want but he couldn't win any more. Last contract was .500 in the AE, last three years were particularly bad, didn't make it out of the first round in the AE tournament last 4 years. It was not a competitive product. The best you can say is at least it wasn't this garbage. If that's any compliment. 

Bottom line is he was good for UA for many years, and there were great moments and long LONG stretches of mediocrity, horrible relationship with a horrible AD etc. It was an untenable situation. Not sure why you conflate me speaking about his performance as some referendum on him as a person but he did always have a reputation for being petty. This tweet he sent is a dick move, coaches regardless of what their personal animus are towards their past employer simply do not send tweets like that. I think it speak to his character, you are free to disagree. 

I don't think you know of much of anything regarding how I feel about Brown, being "family", I'm sure you now all kinds things about what he feels about all kinds of things. He did always have a cult-following of family and friends who had zero objectivity around him and his on court performance. It was honestly one of the creepiest things during his tenure, how many of his family and close friends would massage the fan-base. Still weird to this day...you're the perfect example of that. 

He didn't win any more, the rest is history. Granted, who knew this dope AD would hire this walking disaster. Hindsight is 20/20.

They eventually did score 72 points. their problem is they gave up close to 100. Nothing has changed. 354th ranked defense last year, 320th after last night. 

Yeah you are a garbage team if you don't defend. Last night if you just watched, honestly some of the worst defense I've ever seen at any level. 

Did Killings take any accountability after last night? Anyone seen any comments from him?

Updated after the game...like many said...disgusting. Talk about defense all summer and training camp. Then do that...That was so brutal that Pomeroy lower win prediction from 12 to 11. 

Seems to me they pushed the pace a lot more off makes and misses in the 2nd half. If they have any hope it's to do more of that. Once defense sets there isn't enough talent to break the D down nor a system to run sets. Their only hope is to push the ball HARD. 

Thomas is a nice player...enjoy watching him play. The lone bright spot tonight.

I'm a little behind but I do not get the love affair with Little...other then a physical specimen he may be one of the worst offensive players I've ever seen at UA. Why does Killings love him so much?

No one loves this more than Brown...so petty, I love it. 

A real opportunity was missed not firing Killings when they had the chance for cause. The damage he continues to do to UA basketball is gonna take a long time to recover from. 

On pace to get wored by 40 by a UMASS team that's gonna end up being ranked in the 200's. LMAO

impossible to sugarcoat...the man just can't coach, it's that simple. There's nothing there...they are lost.

I think to me that's the most disappointing...the defense is every bit as bad as last year. Once there is an initial beat of the dribble no one rotates over to cut off the driver.
